Risk Disclosure
Last updated October 3, 2026
Read this before you launch or trade anything. It forms part of our Terms & Conditions. It does not list every risk, and nothing here is advice.
You can lose everything
Memecoins usually have no use and no value beyond what the next buyer will pay. Most lose almost all of their value, often within hours. Only use money you can afford to lose completely.
Prices move fast
Bonding curves and thin pools react sharply to every trade. A single large sell can move the price a long way, and the price you see can change before your transaction lands.
Tokenized stocks carry their own risks
A tokenized stock depends on its issuer: on the issuer staying solvent, honouring redemptions and keeping the token in line with the share. Its price can drift from the share price, especially while the stock market is closed, and trading in it can be paused or restricted by its issuer. It does not make you a shareholder.
Two prices at once
A coin paired with a stock or with HYPE is priced in that asset. Its value in dollars moves with both the coin and the pair, so you can lose money even when the coin holds its price against its pair.
Smart contracts can fail
The contracts behind notional cannot be changed once deployed. A bug in them, in HyperSwap, in a token contract or in HyperEVM itself could lead to the loss of funds, and nobody may be able to fix it or give the funds back.
Transactions are final
A confirmed transaction cannot be reversed. Funds sent to a wrong address, or spent on a coin you did not mean to buy, are gone.
Anyone can launch anything
Launching is permissionless. Coins can copy the names and images of famous people, brands or other coins. A coin's name or ticker tells you nothing about who is behind it.
The network can fail
HyperEVM, its RPC providers and your wallet can be slow, congested or offline, which can delay or block your transactions at the worst moment.
Your keys, your responsibility
Whoever has your seed phrase or private key controls your funds. We never ask for them, and we cannot recover a lost or stolen wallet.
Laws change
Rules on crypto assets and tokenized securities differ by country and keep changing. A change could make a coin, a pair or the Site unavailable where you are, and you are responsible for any taxes on your trades.
