FAQ

Short answers to the questions people ask most.

Does notional hold my funds?

No. Your coins and funds stay in your wallet. Every trade is a transaction between your wallet and the smart contracts, which you approve yourself.

What does it cost to launch a coin?

Only the network fee, plus whatever you choose to buy of your own coin at launch. See Fees.

Can I change my coin after it launches?

No. The name, ticker, image and pair are permanent.

Which stocks can I pair a coin with?

The ones listed on the launch page and in Pairs.

Do coins paired with a stock trade when the stock market is closed?

Yes, they trade on-chain at any hour. The stock's own price barely moves while its market is closed, so prices can jump when it opens.

Why can't people in the United States use stock pairs?

Tokenized stocks are subject to securities laws, and they are not offered to persons in the United States or in other restricted regions.

Who can see what I do?

Everything on a blockchain is public, including your wallet's trades. notional adds nothing to that.

Is anything here financial advice?

No. Memecoins and tokenized stocks are risky and you can lose everything you put in. Read the Risk Disclosure.
